The Santee Food Bank has been an integral part of the Santee community since 1983, providing Santee residents with temporary food assistance for over 40 years. We are an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 organization run solely by volunteers who generously give their time and collectively donate approximately 16,000 hours a year to fulfill our mission.

We rely on our partnerships with local businesses and our Santee community to assist and serve approximately 400-450 families each month.  All monetary donations support the mission of the Santee Food Bank and are put into action purchasing food to serve our residents. 

We also have relationships and partnerships with many of the businesses in the Santee Community that help to supply us with the bulk of what we distribute to our individuals and families.  Thanks to our partnership with The San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego we are able to increase the number of people we serve on a daily basis.
